We Are Montana in the Classroom

What We Do

We Are Montana in the Classroom engages K-12 students with University of Montana role models - faculty, graduate students, researchers, and staff - with the goal of inspiring them about opportunities in higher education and beyond. UM role models visit schools and after-school programs to share their personal experiences in education, lead a fun, hands-on activity, and provide information about opportunities at UM.

Teachers and informal educators can book a We Are Montana in the Classroom visit free of charge.

Teachers, please contact Kit Smith at kit.smith@umontana.edu for more information or to book a visit with a UM role model. You can also fill out this visit request form.

UM faculty, staff, and graduate students, are you interested in sharing your love of learning with Montana K-12 students? Please fill out this intake form or contact kit.smith@umontana.edu.
