Making Across Montana is a collaborative project led by spectrUM Discovery Area. Our project team includes staff, advisory groups, and partners.
Staff
Jessie Herbert-Meny (director of spectrUM Discovery Area) is project director.
Nicholos Wethington (associate director of spectrUM) leads implementation of this project’s teacher PD and K-12 engagement.
Caitlin Ervin (associate director of education at spectrUM) incorporates project activities into spectrUM’s museum and Science on Wheels program.
Nathalie Wolfram (director of the UM Broader Impacts Group) facilitates spectrUM and BIG’s Bitterroot advisory group and collaborates on project dissemination.
Beth Covitt (head of STEM education research and evaluation of spectrUM) is the project’s evaluator.
Nicollette Frank (education & evaluation research associate) supports the project's evaluation.
Evan Rock (science education program coordinator of spectrUM) implements making and tinkering programming at spectrUM's museum and across Montana.
Advisory Groups
spectrUM’s community advisory groups on the Flathead Reservation and in the rural Bitterroot Valley — SciNation on the Flathead Reservation and the Bitterroot STEAM Advisory Group — are collaborating on the co-design of this project’s exhibits, activities, and programming.
